Coffee was first introduced to Brazil in 1727 from Cayenne, French Guiana. Today, Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer and is becoming a significant player in the speciality coffee industry, producing 25% of the world's supply of coffee. Brazil has one of the world's most advanced and well cared for processing systems in the industry. Our coffee is from the Santos region and is mild, smooth and free from any acidity or bitterness.

In this tiny South American country with a tropical, rainy climate, over 78,000 coffee growers are responsible for one of the country's most important production activities. Men and women plant and harvest by hand more than 250,000 acres of coffee. Such productivity is made possible by volcanic soils, hard work and the respect Costa Ricans have for nature. This coffee is the mainstay of our business and the reason for our existence. It is a mild coffee with just a hint of acidity and a full rich coffee flavour.

Kenya works diligently to assure quality in all beans that are exported. The coffee is cultivated on small farms, and the growers are rewarded with high prices for quality beans. The main growing region in Kenya extends south of 17,000-foot Mt. Kenya to near the capital of Nairobi. Kenyan coffee is wet-processed and sold by the size of the bean, with AA signifying the largest beans, followed by A and B.
